Beth: So Red, how did you like the movie today?
Red: It was good, those monsters were really fun to hang out with. Not so sure about Oscar though...
Beth: Well, he is a grouch.
Red: That's true. So how was work?
Beth: It was ok, you know I don't like my job much though.
Red: Yeah, that's too bad. You know what might cheer you up?
Beth: What?
Red: A Mardi Gras party! Let's get all sorts of food and play with our new karoake machine and stay up late!
Beth: That sounds like fun! Think anyone else here in the dorms will want to come?
Red: I don't know, let's open our door so people passing by can stop in!
Beth: Great idea!
*Beth goes and opens door, Red starts getting out food*
Red: Whoopie! I love parties!

Cookie M: (pass Beth's room) Hey there. You having a party? Great! Grover, Herry and Kyle! Come here quick!

Yes Cookie? What is it?

Cookie M: Beth and Red having party.

Grover: Oh good. We can eat what their having. Oh goodie!

Herry: I know I'm starved!

*goes over to Beth* Hey there. Glad you liked the movie. Sorry about Oscar. He can be such a pain.

Oscar: I know that! he he he he he.....Glad to be here. To ruin your party!

I'm not letting you do that Oscar. You go back to your can.

Oscar: I never get to have fun.

We went to the movies remember?

Oscar: I know and I hated it.

Thats how you like things.

Oscar: I know. I'll be in my can if you want me. Scram.

I think I made Oscar upset. I've never thought I would make Oscar sad. This is one grouch I've know since I've been around. Sorry Beth I'll be right back.

*runs to the room, knocks on trash lid* Hey there Oscar. Are you there?

Oscar: What do you want?!

I didn't mean to upset you.

Oscar: I'm a grouch. I'm spouped to be mad.

But your not. Your sad. I can see it.

Oscar: I'M A GROUCH!! *slams lid*

I've never seen Oscar this sad/mad before.

Oscar: *open lid* Hey Kyle?

Yes Oscar.?

Oscar: Heres something that I made for you. *hands me a box*

Thanks Oscar.

Oscar: Don't think me, thank youself! *snickers*

*opens box* SPLAT! Yuck! Thats gross Oscar! OSCAR!! OSCAR!! Come out Oscar!!

Oscar: *opens lid* Yes Kyle!? Now thats funny! Ha he he he he he he....

YOUR ONE DEAD GROUCH!!

Oscar: Now that how I like it. he he he he he he....

Me: Same here. And Count the MC Movie thread is in the same spot it has been. At least it was there at my last check. I was reading aloud the story to my sisters last night (they've been making me do that & I don't mind it gives me a chance to practice my pathetic voice imitations). Couldn't get through Snidley's song without cracking up. Kinda hard to sing the Mr. Ginch song and laugh at the same time. (that is the work you were going off of wasn't it?)

Mr. Grinch? No, actually since someone else proposed it earlier in the thread itself... It's a version of "The Night that Santa Went Crazy" by Weird Al Yankovic.
Just about to leave for another day on campus, one class and two readers hoping to get caught up with the reading for the classes. Have a good one today guys, talk to you later.

Hmmm...What's strange is that the words fit in both songs. So it could go either way. It fits better in "The Night Santa Went Crazy" though. You have to fudge on "Mr. Grinch". Oh well. I had a good guess. Between my sisters and I doing voices of the Muppets we were hysterical by the end of the 6th page of the thread so it didn't matter that I was singing the wrong tune.

: You gotta work on my voice though. I sounded more like a mouse than myself!

My feelings exactly. I haven't read the latest contributions (sorry about posting around the same time...that's one thing I worry about the most), but a variety definitely makes it more fun. I'll be checking it out once I hit Submit Reply on this post. Hope everyone has a great day!
