Hey guys, just got back from the movies. Well, Sin City was OK. Just hope I get a chance of seeing Phantom of the Opera. Rully wanna judge for myself if Joel shoemucker has earned some semblance of redemption after his last piece of cinematic comicbook crud.

Hey D, making a sandwich too? Here, whatcha need? Been making a sandwich for meself too, classic crunchy peanut butter and pickles.
This'll tide me over till Sunday dinner later, and a new episode of Charmed, the big 150 event. Though one thing about the hype for the episode... why are they drumming up the return of Cole now, since he's already returned as Drake DeMon. Or is Drake a completely different character?

You can count the raindrops, the rain clouds, the thunderclaps, and even have fun counting or just trying to spot the flashes of lovely lightning. And remember, after ewery rainstorm ends, there's a vonderful rainbow. Or you can stay indoors and play board or card games with your friends here at the dorms. Just trying to cheer up a fellow friend."

So long as there's air conditioning in the common room, and thankfully there is, Count von Count and I will join you Kathy.
Phew, at least electricity's been restored to our room down here. Missed out on Charmed, will catch the repeat though. And at least my troubles over transportation to the college campus have been taken care of. The question now becomes if the campus will be open tomorrow or if the strike'll still be in effect. Oh well, those are worries for tomorrow.

Me: Hey Red what's wrong?
Red: I'm studying for a quiz in my geology class and I'm just not getting some of the terms. I'm going to fail
Me: Now don't be like that, if you don't think positive than you won't do well, if you think positive you will
Red: I suppose you're right
Me: How about I make some flashcards with the terms on them and quiz you like a game?
Red: Now that sounds much better than staring at this book!
Me: Ok, sounds good, I'll get the markers and notecards
Red: I'll get us some snacks.

OK Count, you help me out with what letters I got and we'll help each other out.
Found out that the campus will be closed tomorrow indeed. No classes then. The strike started with the vote to strike declared in an assembly last Wednesday afternoon, and the campus gates have been closed since last Thursday.
Oh well, at least I get to stay home and watch some Sesame Street. Your turn Prairie.
