Yet another chapter from the Muppet Boarding House!

Tuesday- After the roof removing incident the day before, we all were hoping for no rain and repairmen. Thankfully, rain never showed. However, Animal bit one of the repairmen and we had to fix the roof ourself. You'd think that with all the people living in this house it'd be an easy task.
Me: Hey, Rizzo. You got any more nails?
Rizzo: Yeah sure here. I thought you were afraid of heights.
Me: Don't remind me.
Fozzie: *fromt the ground*So does that mean you don't wanna see my new act.
Me: Foooozzzziiiieeee.
Fozzie: Just checking.
After working all day we finally got plywood up. By that time it was nightfall and the Swedish Chef had cooked a wonderful meal.
Rizzo: What in the name of Henson is that?
Gonzo: *eating* I dunno. But it's pretty good.
Chef:It's spegetthee und meetbells. Bork! Bork! Bork! *leaves room*
Me: *whispers* Does he know this is gummy worms and *inpects a meatball* I think play-dough?
Kermit: We try to humor him.
Me: *pushes plate back* So who's up for pizza?

You didn't sleep well last night?
Prairie *yawn*:No.Kath...would you mind taking notes for me in Music Appreciation class today? If I go to class,I'll fall asleep sitting there.
No problem. Go get some sleep. I'll explain to the prof that you didn't have a good night last night.He'll understand.
Prairie: I hope so. After seeing Grover on TV the other night,I was just so excited. Then Tuesday night I had a bellyache.Last night was Grover & Cookie's welcome home party & I wanted to go to that. Too bad I couldn't clone myself.
It's OK Prairie. Just relax for the afternoon, OK?
Prairie: Thanks Kathy. You're a true friend.

*I go to get my books & by the time I come out,Prairie's snoring away on the couch. I put a light blanket on her & go on my way*

Well... That explains why she was so drowsy and then having her morning toast with jam in the afternoon both times Cookie dragged her on to the Letter of the Day Game Show.

Me:I dont know. They just want us to learn about puberty and......well...ya know.Dont cha?

Me:I know! I hate it so much. They wont even let us laugh!
Scooter:We always laugh when were in the other room.

Red: You're right. Maybe this weekend? I think I'm going to bed
Me: Are you feeling all right?
Red: I just feel tired and a little rundown
Me: Well, maybe you just need a good night's sleep

*walks up to the front desk with a large box wrapped in brown paper*

Can we have this sent down to Liv again? Inside, you'll find Chocolate Cookies (with chocolate chips), a jar of brightly colored lolly-pops, a red-jumper (whooly, and comforting), a little packaged box of silk-white handkercheifes, with initials embrodered and small emotiocon-like faces of the Muppets in the corners, a bunch of three tulips two carnations and a yellow rose, a Big Hug, and a copy of the Muppet Movie on DVD.
