Acappella? Their songs on the Carmen Sandiego game show were enjoyable.
Hey PD and Kathy, the latest movie version of the Phantom of the Opera already started showing? Is it true they got Antonio Banderas to play the lead role of the Phantom? If so, then I rully have grave reservations about seeing it. I mean, would like to see it, but Antonio Bandidiwas as the Phantom... And the fact that it's a Joel Shoemaker film, just don't trust him after the botchilism that was Batman & Robin.
Oh well, might have to bite the bullet and see for myself one of these days or nights as the case may be.
"Phantom Of The Opera" started showing about a month or so ago, Ed & Count.But don't worry...Antonio Banderas will not be playing the Phantom. Someone else is(but I forgot who) I have the soundtrack to "The Phantom" play. And the music is so beautiful! :sing:
Prairie:Better bring tissues though, Kath. You know how you get when you see a beautiful movie or hear beautiful music.
Good point Prairie.
~~~UPDATE~~~~
Hey Ed & Count...it's a man named Gerard Butler that plays The Phantom.
I'm off to bed. Goodnight. :sleep:
Ah! That's a big relief. Helps cushion the blow of a Joel Shoemaker film, now I'm thinking I rully might see it. And of course there's the much better Batman 5: Batman Begins in the summer and Tim Burton's A Corpse Bride in the fall.
Oh, the Music of the Night!
Listen to my little ones, vhat beautiful music they make.
*There's a smell of French toast in our dormroom*
Morning Prairie!
Prairie:*turning from the stove* Morning Kathy!Sleep well?
Yeah...I did. You?
Prairie:Yep...like a log! Still going to see "Phantom" today?
Yeah...hopefully. My friend & I were supposed to be going at 2 but she's having company & eating at 3.So we're catching the 5:15 show.
Prairie:Ahh..OK.
The French toast smells good!
Prairie:Thanks! :smile: I was thinking of inviting some of our dorm buddies up for breakfast.
Sounds good to me. Hopefully the smell from here will bring our friends up.
*Light chuckle. Up from the depths of dark night's slumber and down int the bowels of the earth, and beyond that into your fiery kitchenette PD.
Sorry, just couldn't resist a nice little bit of artistic humor like that one.
Count: "Hope to get some more counting done, the list keeps on growing along."
Yes my friend, and maybe a probable definitive start to the castle. Ah, don't quote me on that.
Anyway, here's to the glorious anatomy of a lunch. Bon appetit everyone.
Me: Morning Red, did you sleep well?
Red: Yeah after all that food yesterday!
Me: Well, it looks like everyone liked our lasagna and even your soup! Look, the Count sent some bat cookies!
Red: Cool! Is there any soup leftover?
Me: Well, yeah, most of us favored the lasagna I guess.
Red: That's ok! Doozer sticks are an aquired taste.
Me: Prairie Dawn and Kathy made some french toast if your interested although it's getting close to lunch now.
Red: Yeah, I think I'm going to eat my leftover soup.
Me: Then do you want to go play in the fresh snow with me? It's good snowman making snow!
Red: I love snow! Whoopie!
Hope everyone is having a good day!
Walks in from work.....
It was such a nice day today.
Herry: Loved the weather. It was nice and sunny.
Just the wind would get caught up and all. Hey there dormies! Hows everything going today.
Grover and Cookie come out of the room
Grover: Good evening Kyle and Herry.
Herry: Whats for dinner?
Grover: What do I look like to you?
A furry blue monster w/ feelings. *Me and Herry just laugh*
Grover: Making jokes of me. What fun.
Cookie M: Me wouldn't mind some chicken.
Chicken it is. *goes to the kitchen and gets everything started* If anyone wants some fried chicken come on over.
Thanks Kyle, but we had a bit of stewed tuna earlier. Had rice, carrots and toasted almonds with the stewed tuna.
And we're having another feast fright now, over the announced proposed S2 of Palisades Toys' Sesame Street figures.
Someone tell Vic that his roomies will indeed be immortalized by Palisades, both of them. Ernie's already planned and showed as part of the S1 crew in pics on the net. Well, Bert's coming in S2.
S2 will also feature the Martians, Roosevelt Franklin, and none other than...
Count von Count: "A figure of yours truly! Ah ha!"
Yes my friend, I can hardly wait. Oh, this is even better than Counting Up to 9.
The S2 figures are proposed for release towards the end of the year, could have an action figure of my roomie and online namesake by my B-day. Please don't let him get bumped down to S3.
Oh the pack-ins that could come with a figure of the Count here. Bats, spiders, ghosts, numbers or number Muppets, ah it makes me whirl about the floor...
And almost want to count them all up!
Good night and hope everyone sleeps well.
