Muppet College Dorms: The Next Semester

Beth: *pulling out two packs of frozen vegetables*
Wanda: What are those for?
Beth: For Lisa, she had her wisdom teeth out and when I had mine out, I found that bags of frozen vegetables work better than ice packs, you can mold them to your face easier.
Wanda: Very nice
Beth: You feel like visiting Rowlf? You could bring these up to her along with the get well card that Mokey made
Wanda: Oh sure, I could probably do that *blushes*
Beth *hands Wanda the stuff and sends her up to Lisa's room*

Animal: *wandering around the room* BUUUN-NIIEEEEEEE! BUUNNNNIEEEEEEE? *stares at Sweetums a moment*

Sweetums: *wearing bunny ears* *shrugs*

Animal: BUNNIEEEEEE! *stares at Alex a moment* Where bunnieee?

Alex: *wearing a "bunny" outfit* *shrugs*

Bean: *pops out from behind the couch and whistles*

Animal: BUNNY! *glomps Bean and cuddles him* Come on Bunny..... *carries Bean away*

Count, singing: I love counting... Counting to the number 4.
UD: Great, now he won't be able to get that dratted song out of his head—nor mine—all day long. Why did it have to be today of all days?
Me: Hey, it could be worse... I could be gone by now off to classes. Thankfully, I'm all finished with that rot.

*Goes to start reading Potter books while Count busies himself with Lisa's get-well pack.

And maybe I'll tend to some haunters too, if you care to lend your expert decision making Uncle D, but no promises.
UD: If it gets me away from that #4 hymn, I'll do anything.
*Voice from the furnace: Anything?
UD,slightly spooked: Uh... Well... Not, not that anything.

Beth: *calls Ed* Just so you know, there's an update that may be of interest to you down in the library *hangs up phone*
Mokey: So you finally wrote some more story?

Everyone: Shhhhhhhhhh!

(whispers) Opps. Sorry. This might have been a bad idea. *heads off to find a quite little spot*

*Gets into his room now... Sorry I was gone guys, my friend was here for the evening. Now then, to dive into these threads at the fanfic library.
*Humming "Half-past twelve" from "Gimme Gimme Gimme".

 

[Ruahnna]

(Ru is in the kitchen little kitchen mixing something in a bowl. Fozzie comes into the kitchen, sees her, and runs up to hug her back.)
Fozzie: Ru! Ru! You're back!
Ruahnna: Yes it is--and you're doing a great job of hugging it! Wocka wocka!
Fozzie: Wah-ha-ha! Good one! (snifs hopefully) What are you doing?
Ruahnna: I'm making pancakes. Want a honey pancake, Honey?
(Fozzie throws himself at her back again and hugs her, almost spilling pancake batter on the linoleum.)
Fozzie: (With a contented sigh.) I've missed you.
(Ru puts the bowl down, turns around and gives Fozzie a bear hug of her own.)
Ru: I've missed you too, Fozzie. It's nice to be out from under.
Fozzie: Out from under what?
Ruahnna: (considers answering and decides against it) Life--just lots of things going on. But I'm trying to get back in the groove of things. So--pancakes?
Fozzie: (sitting down with fork and knife in hand) Yes, please!
(The griddle starts to hum and sizzle, filling the dorm room with the smell of hot bread. This rouses two other sleepyheads--one green and surprisingly rumpled for a frog with no clothes on and the other a tousled diva swathed in several layers of organza and silk. Piggy sits down at the table and yawns delicately, but Kermit does what Fozzie did--comes over and hugs Ru's unsuspecting back as she stands over the griddle. This catches her mid-flip of a pancake, which only narrowly makes it back into the pan.)
Kermit: (Sigh)
Ruahnna: I missed you, too, sweetie. Want a pancake?
Piggy: What kind do you have?
Ruahnna: Um, honey, chocolate chip and, um, (She casts a sideways look at Kermit and winks.) the house specialty.
Piggy: (shuddering delicately) One honey, two chocolate chip, please.
(Ru stops where she stands, staring at her roomie so long that she almost loses a pancake. Piggy said please! She actually said please!)
Ru: (a little teary) I-I missed you, too, Piggy.
Kermit: The house specialty, please--a three-stack if you don't mind?
Fozzie: I'll take another honey, Honey!
Ruahnna: (laughing) Coming right up! Sure is nice to be back where I belong!
Piggy: Speaking of--after you've cleaned up the kitchen, I may need a little help with my room....
Ruahnna: (sighing and smiling) Why am I not surprised?

Beige : (to the Newsman) We'll be watching your career with great interest.
Scooter: Try watching the board; it's been your move for ten minutes.
Beige: Right, right. (moves king's side bishop) Check.
Storyteller: (doing crossword) Quick, four across, six letters - only chess move where the king moves more than one square.
Erin: (working on stuff at computer) Castle.
Storyteller: Mmm...eight down, four letters. The color of Edith's life.
Nora: Rose, as in, La Vie En Rose. (sits up and stretches) So what'd you guys think of the latest episode?
Erin: Really cool - Steve's gotten to do what most Muppet fans can only dream about.
Beige: Yeah - talking shop with someone who shares DNA with a Muppeteer.
Scooter: Second only to talking shop with the Muppeteer himself, but Richard was unavoidably detained. (moves queen's side knight) Mate.
Beige: Hey, wait a minute, I wasn't even in check!
Scooter: Yeah, you were!
Storyteller: No throwing of chess pieces, please.

shaking my head & then letting out a small yelpThat was stupid of me to do. My head is hurting again.
Rosita:Pobrecita Kathy. Why don't you take some painkillers and then go to bed?Either Prairie or I will take in Gaffer tonight and she can sleep with one of us OK?
