Me(a couple of hours after last post):*shaking head as I hang up the phone*
Prairie.......lately I think I'm going to have a nervous breakdown.
PD:Why? What's up?
Me:That was my mother on the phone. My dad's definitely coming home today!
PD: *hugging me*: Hey great!
Me:I just feel kind of bad that yesterday I got everyone all excited that he was going to be coming home today. Then I found out that he wouldn't be. Now I find out today that he is. I just don't want to keep calling a false alarm,you know? I got nice things from everyone when I found out that he is coming home. Then when I found out that he wouldn't be,I got stuff from everyone to cheer me up. I got flowers & cookies from Herry Cookie & Grover,Beth & Red & the Count too.
PD:That's because we care about you,you silly goose! Everyone will be happy ( & relieved for you)

Me: hey Red! I just ran into Prairie Dawn in the hall and now it sounds like Kathy's dad is going home today!
Red: That's wonderful! Did she like our flowers?
Beth: Yeah, she did! She also got flowers and cookies from the Count, Grover, Cookie and Herry. Everyone is so nice around here!
Red: Yeah, that's why I like living here! I"m glad Kathy's feeling better.
Beth: Me too! So, sounds like the Count is making a big seafood stew feast today, we should go and have some! I'm glad he's making it with seafood cause I can't have meat today (Catholic Lent thing)
Red: Ooh, Seafood stew, sounds nice and warm. I hope he includes some radishes!
Beth: If he doesn't there's a radish pot pie in the fridge that you have leftover from earlier in the week.
Red: Oh goodie, I'll bring it with just in case and I can share it with everyone!
Beth: Well, I have to go to work for a little bit, so I'll see you this afternoon.
Red: Have a good day!
*Beth bundles up and walks out door again*

Hmmm, shame the pools thread got taken down. Oh hey Beth...
*Spots RedBooberGurl walking out.
Here's a key to the dormhouse pools. It's located behind the main house and is accessible via the walkway connecting the two. Had to lock the doors down, but anyone here at the dorms can get a key to the pools. Thought you'd need one most of all for Red to conduct her swim classes and have some geneeral fun.
*Hands over key to Beth.

Is Lent already upon us? Heh, just not as important to me as it used to be. There's a little thing I use for whenever I know it's Lent and it matters, at least to me. If I remember not to eat meat, then perfect. But if I forget and do eat meat, then it's no biggie just enjoy the meal.
But yeah, looks like there'll be a good ol' fishfry tonight for all you guys and girls here at the dorms.
Now, what to make as special treats? I wonder, would...

Count: "Well, do you at least have any pocket change with you Christy? That way, you could at least make a quick call back home and ask someone to bring you your USB drive. Hexplain it to your teacher and they might understand, probably give you till the end of the day or a bit later to get the USB and hand in the work."
As for me, got a ton of errands to get done, among them the reworking to the paper I handed in for my seminar last semester. At least I have till May or the end of term to hand it in and get the incomplete removed for a real grade and get the credits. The credits are the more important thing, since once I get 92 I automatically graduate, I hope.

As I start to close the door, I see Grover's furry head peek out his dorm room door & he grins.I wave to him,point to the gift basket,blow him a kiss and whisper,"Thanks Grover.I'll take advantage of the hug later.Have a good day."
It may be cold outside,but it's warm here in Muppet Central Dorms.
