Muppet College Dorms: The Next Semester

[The Count]

The bus rolls up to the bus stop at the sidewalk next to the other side of Big Bird's nesting area. The familiar instrumental theme to Sesame Street plays from the bus's sound system, the doors open, the Hensonville vacationers descend to get their luggage off and on to the welcome meeting planned at Hooper's Store.

Hoots, perched above the Sesame Street signpost: Welcome to Sesame Street. Looks like everybody's hoppin' and boppin' to be part of the birthday bash.
*He laughs his traditional chuckling laugh.

Ed: Come on guys, we're meeting at Hooper's first, we can make plans and head out from there.

Claudia:
No...not now...
don't wanna go out.
Sleep....

Bunsen:
Sleep later, move little legs!

Clifford:
This'll be great!
Been a long time since I been back here!
Mmmhmm.

Sup, counting vampire dude.
(Goes with the others)

(Raises an eyebrow)

(Sees his own reflection at a window)

I wonder why.
(Rolls eyes)

The joyful atmosphere.
(Says cooly, still looking at himself)

Gonzo:
This is awesome!
Right Camilla?
(Holds her close)

Camilla:
Brawk brawk.

Gonzo:
I know! The people here are sooo nice!

Claudia:
(Wails)
I WANT TO SLEEEEEEEP!

Bunsen:
What are you...
a child?

Come now.

Claudia:
(Reddens)

I'm not a kid.

(Clears throat)

Alan: Hey Cookie Monster. How are things going at the collage?

Cookie M: Oooo me loving it. All me freinds and Bryan, he's my room mate. He's very fun to be around. Cookies, Alan?

Oh that Cookie Monster. Always wanting to get there before everyone else. Sorry 'bout that Ed.

Grover: *waves to some monsters in the windows of 123 Sesame*

Herry: I hope my mom is ready for some hairyness. *laughs*

That's OK Kyle... He's Cookie Monster after all.
Come on Clauds, if you want to sleep, you can do that at any of the rooms we got at 4-5-6 or 7-8-9 Sesame. The bus has to get back to Hensonville.
Count: Jive 5 Clifford. *Slaps hands with the purplish catfish-faced Muppet.
Uncle Deadly: Mmm, the colors here are far too bright. If only there were some shadows to skulk around.
*The phantomly dragon hangs back in the umbra of the newspaper/magazine rack or fruit stand outside Hooper's, attempting to remain within his delicious darkness.

We should have gone to Sesame Street. I really am sorry,girls.
Rosita:Oh Kathy...don't feel bad.We'll go next time.
Prairie:Right! Yesterday you were feeling sick and it didn't seem like a good time for us to go.
But I should have sent you guys on your way.
Rosita:Maybe next weekend we'll make a special trip.Mami and Papi have wanted to see you anyway.
They have?
Rosita: Si. See, since I don't have a big sister,you've been like one to me. And they wanted to thank you.
Awww..no thanks are necessary.
Prairie:You're like a big sister to me too. My mom asks about you all the time when I talk to her on the phone. And you too Rosita.
Well now I don't feel too bad.

Hey Alan... Could I please use the phone a moment? Thanks.
*Fishes for a few coins, plunks them in, and dials the dorms' Room #6.
On the third ring or so... Hello, Kathy? Just calling to se how you felt. Oh, that's good, glad you're more of in the pink. We'll be staying here for a week, some might head back early like last year as usual. Wanted to ask if you could look after Fatatatita while we're up here at Sesame. Huh? Oh, she probably either got into the laundry room for a nap or scurried out to the hallway swatting at the flies who get too close to an unnoticed cobweb. Thanks Kath, take care.
*Hangs up the phone and goes to get settled at 4-5-6 Sesame Street.

Cookie M: Cowabunga! *grabs the box and just devours the whole box*

Grover: Hey Alan. Can i request a peanut butter sandwich please?

Alan: Coming right up.

Murray: I'll have a baloney sandwich.

Herry: I will take my usaual.

Alan: Alright. Next.

I'll take a two peanutbutters and some chips.

Bruce: I'll take the samething as Murray.

Alan: Next.

hanging up the phone Ed just called..Fatatita's around the dorms someplace.So he asked me to keep an eye out for her. He said she's probably in the hallways swatting at flies in cobwebs or down sleeping in the laundry room.I'll be right back.

Beth: All right, Abby's all set with her parents, Big Bird is all tucked into his nest, the rest of us can head to our room in 456 Sesame
Red: Good, I'm exhausted
Wanda: You, the girl with all the energy?
Red: It was a long trip

Beth: You been hanging around Fozzie?
*Red glares*
Beth: Just kidding, come on, let's get into our pj's and ready for bed, I'm sure tomorrow will be filled with fun activities

(in the building at 456 Sesame, the Room 19 gang are entering their room)

Kim: Well, here we are guys.
Mimzy: But...there are only two beds. What, are the rest of us going to have to sleep on the floor?
Kim: (setting the suitcases on one of the beds) Don't worry, Mimz; no one's going to be sleeping on the floor at any point during this trip.
Boober: Good. I don't want to think about some of the stuff that's been tracked through here on the carpet over the years. Yecch!
Gillis: Oh, I'm sure they shampoo the rugs once a decade or so...
Kim: A joke, Maestro? You must be feeling better then. Basically we've got two options - the girls share one bed while Boober and Gillis share the other, or I hang up the two hammocks I brought.
Gillis: I don't mind spending the night in a hammock.
Boober: I guess I can take the other one.
Tosh: Cool, that means Mimzy and I get the bed!
Kim: And I get the other one. Okay, let's get these hammocks set up, then. Tosh, you get Beast set up in the closet okay?
Tosh: Okay. Are we going to visit Betty Lou tomorrow?
Kim: You bet.
