I must spend too must time around you guys! But I mean that in the best possible way....what's scary, is that I know I dream about people on MC pretty much every night, but I can't usually remember them. This is my latest one.....this dream has a slight backstory...and when you know who I'm talking about...it'll fit right in.
I dreamed I was in an interview with Diane Sawyer (she gets into a lot of my dreams) and I was talking with my husband about how we got together....I think the show was about people meeting on the internet *knows half the people have guessed by now, but continues* and I look up and well I see none other than...Justin....and we were just chatting about how we met. We talked about projects we worked on, and just stuff.
but this is apparently the lowdown on how we actually met!
I won some sort of Technology contest and got a free trip to New York. I decided I was going to try to meet Justin. We set up a meeting place and met. We clicked as best friends immediately (which wasn't hard to do, since we already knew one another) after I went back to Oklahoma, we both decided we needed to meet again, and I was trying to figure out how....then Justin surprised me by saying he would be going to college at Oklahoma State. This was a big shock, because I was going to study meteorology at Oklahoma University. We spent the freshman year at our seperate schools, and always told our friends we were going to football games, and would go meet in either town. We decided to get married halfway through our freshman year. This was really hard, because even though our checking account was merged, we only saw each other every other weekend. In sophomore year, we decided to rent one apartment halfway between our two colleges.....gas money went up, but not in what we saved from only paying one rent. Then after college was over, we finally had a formal wedding ceremony. This was the first time for both of us to meet our in-laws. Justin and my parents hit it off really well, but his parents thought I was too sickening sweet. A big surprise was that a few MC members came....Phillip came, Nate came, and I think Kevin did too...oh yeah! MANDA! she said she HAD to be the flower girl...we had already decided on a friends daughter, but Manda was insistent...so she just wore the little kids dress....it was quite a wedding....I believe Luke sent penguins as well as a stinkbomb(classy!).....the cake had Bill Baretta in it.....and Jamie sent a picture of him and Cindi Lauper (dearie me if I misspelled that!) and If I remember, we dressed up as
and
