Muppet Apperiance on Star Wars DVD
If you get the original Star Wars trilogy DVD set coming out later this month you will not only get the treat of three great films, but also a few Muppet connections.
Frank Oz is seen on the Bonus Features disk talking about his role as Yoda in two of the three films in the trilogy (and all three of the new trilogy films). Their is also part of the documentaries and commentaries talking about Frank, the puppet used, and working with puppets.
Also on the bonue features disk in one of the still galleries showing behind the scenes photos from the set of the movies, you'll see several shots of Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy on Dagobah (Yoda's home planet). I guess Frank Oz (Yoda) & Jim Henson (who visited the set of the Empire Strikes Back alot, and was original going to perform Yoda) brought the puppets by the set one day.
