Gosh, I was bored the other day so I decided to watch an episode of MST3k, gosh, this is my new favorite show. I seriously wish it was still on today. I know there are more fans of the show on here, so basically lets just talk about the show. The characters, the writing, the dreadfully horrible (but hillariously cheesey) movies. One of the best puppet shows besides ala The Muppet Show, Sesame, and Fraggle Rock.

MST3k is best! When I first discovered it in the mid-90s I used to watch episodes with a couple of other puppeteers and we'd laugh so hard we would cry.

Top ten funniest MST3K episodes
1. MST3K The Movie
the rest are in no order because ordering is hard work
"Pumaman"
"Space Mutiny"
"Prince of Space"
"Santa Claus Conquers the Martians"
"Mitchell"
"Laserblast"
"The Mole People"(I'm biased since this was my first)
"The Thing That Couldn't Die" (most of my family hates MST3K, but I showed them this one and they couldn't stop laughing)
"The Final Sacrifice"

Best Shorts
"Posture Pals" (from "The Unearthly")
"Circus on Ice" (from "Monster A-Go-Go")
"Robot Rumpus" (from "The Screaming Skull")
"Century 21 Calling" (from "The Space Children")
And of course "A Case of Spring Fever" (from "Squirm") and "Mr. B Natural" (from "War of the Colossal Beast") tie for best.

Its not on anymore, your best bet is to download an episode, or youtube. But "Prince of Space" is by far the best episode.

They're available on DVD though. What a spectacular show. I think the episodes with Joel are the best, but Mike is really funny too. "Manos" is definitely one of if not the best, but they are all so great.

Buy the DVDs or videos, most of the good stuff is available through legit channels.
