Could someone tell me about this character?

I know she's played by Kristin Chenoweth, who I thought was jaw-droppingly good in "Wicked" (yes, I saw it before she left), and if she's a Muppet fan herself, that makes her even more awesome (in addition to her talents, her recording an album of old standards, and her naming her dog after the late great Madeline Kahn).
