Hey everyone. I have a question about Mr. Hooper. I know he died in 1983, and I read somewhere that he was on the set of SS just 4 days before his death when Carroll Spinney last saw him. So apparantley he was in an SS episode just 4 days before he died. Does anyone remember this episode, or any episodes from his last year on Sesame Street? Which would be the 1982-1983 Season? Or just some later Mr. Hooper moments in General would help. Thanks

Checking Muppet Wiki, it appears that he died in Season 15 (1983-1984). His death episode was 1839, while the season started with episode 1836. It doesn't look like he was in 1836, (maybe someone who saw the episode on Noggin can confirm), so that leaves two episodes he could have been in.

At least that narrows it down.

Will Lee officially passed away in Dec. of 1982 though his passing wasn't mentioned till the 1983-84 season.

I deleted some other posts because it was unnecessary, members of the cast and crew who knew him visit these sites. The information above is sufficient, so we don't need to elaborate on what happened to the character or what actually happened to the actor, Will Lee.

What we need to focus on, though, is the question at hand: What were the last few episodes he was featured in?
