I'm not sure if any fan ever questioned this or not but what's up with Floyd's voice in Mr. Baseman. He already had his trademark voice in the Sex and Violence pilot. This is the only time his voice changed. Also it was featured on Rock Music with The Muppets and the albums too without a dub of the original Floyd voice.

Was that Jerry still doing Floyd's voice in that number?

One of my all time favorite songs, anyway...

That was in fact Jerry doing Floyd's voice. The lower voice was do to the fact that the song refers to a bass singer, so it is imperative that the character has a bass voice. If Floyd used his regular voice, it would almost almost be Mr. Baritoneman...
