What do you think are some of the most outrageous moments in Muppet history? For me...

10. Early Muppets canned meat ads from the early 60's. A more dark sort of violent comedy Ive seen by the Muppets. I'd also have to tie #10 with the CBS Muppet Pitch from 1975.

9. The Muppet Show: Sex and Violence(1974 pilot) More alarming in name than anything, a certain sketch does tho, feature some over the top ultra violnce against a pair of hapless aliens.

8. Kermit juggling the madness of ratings week on 'Muppet Television',
where the idea of 'sex with Bean Bunny' heightens ratings(Jim Henson Hour, 1989)

7. Kermit/Mo Frackle/Bobo/Sweetums/Sal Family Feud(2001)
Interesting discussions about sex, and havign to go #2 ensue.

6. Kermit talking about "porn being ok" on Craig Kilborn, as well as talking about Snoops various 'activities'(2002)

5. Rowlf the Dog on Arsenio Hall in the late 80's...some of you know what I mean:wink:

4. Kermit talking about "porn being ok" on Craig Kilborn, as well as talking about Snoops various 'activities'(2002)

3. Kermit and Pepe from 2002, on the Fox Muppet Show pitch tape.
Perhaps th emost colorful dialogue ever assembled for the Muppets.

2. Floyd describing him andJanice' love life at Muppetfest 2001.

1. Land of Gorch "Marital" 1976, SNL. Ya think Avenue Q is risque puppet stuff? Oh man...in this rarely seen sketch...how can I put this in approriate terms? Well, Scred and his gf...are um, having trouble in the bedroom...so Scred orders something that might help...and, well, violence, and very non family friendly things ensue. Not sure if it was ever shown again. In 20+ years of Muppet viewing Ive never seen anything like that one. There was also another gorch skit where Ploobis' son gets heavily into dope, but still it doesnt quite rise to this level.

For those of you who have "Jim Henson: The Works", on page 26 it said that one time Don Sahlin posed a Muppet on the "john"(or the toilet!)

Umm, whoa. I've never seen any of these bits/sketches/interviews. I'm really curious about Rowlf on Arsenio Hall.
