What do you think is the most obnoxious fandom out there? I do know that some Hetalia fans can get a bit crazy and tend to offend everyone by rewriting history into ushy-gushy romance, annoying hatred of all the female characters (and France), and taking photos in front of the Holocaust Museum…while dressed as Germany. And making the infamous salute. But I still am a proud member of the Hetalia fandom, because I don't do that stuff (although I do giggle from time to time when I see something relating to another country…)
So, what fandom do you think is the worst?

Almost all anime fandoms are like that... they are some of the most obsessive fans I've ever seen, especially Otakus (fangirls)... even the Japanese take offense to the term Otaku.

Whosers are some of the meanest and nastiest fans I've ever dealt with.

Yeah I agree. And do you mean Whovians? I have a whovian friend and she's not too bad.

If we're talking about fans of WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY?, then no, they're known as Whosers... not sure what Whovians are.

Any fanbase that absolutely rejects anything outright because it wasn't like the good old days. So that's like, Transformers, Looney Tunes, and Sonic the Hedgehog right there.

I'll also add the Alpha and Omega fanbase. The movie sucked, okay guys? It was a cheap, generic kiddy flick that stopped Newt from getting into production (Rio shares that blame, and it isn't that good either, but not immensely horrible), and got 2 of the cheapest cheapquels ever when the film didn't do that great to demand follow ups, DTV or otherwise. Brony bashing, brony bashing...yeah. I get that. But why is no one getting on the case of the wolf loving furries that love this completely undeserving of a fanbase series of "shut the kids up for an hour and a half" disgraces to CGI animation?

Oh. Whovians are fans of Doctor Who. They're not too bad. Never encountered a Whoser before, so I wouldn't know.

I liked Rio. The music was good, and bonus points to the sequel for having Kristin Chenoweth as Gabi the Tree Frog. I didn't know Alpha and Omega had a fanbase…but it can't be as obnoxious as the Rise of the Brave Tangled (Frozen) Dragons. JACK FROST AND ELSA WILL NEVER BE TOGETHER, YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!

AND I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE HATE ON STUFF BECAUSE IT'S NOT LIKE THE GOOD OLD DAYS! SO WHAT IF I LIKE POKEMON DIAMOND AND PEARL?! JUST BECAUSE IT'S NOT RED AND GREEN, I'M A BAD PERSON NOW?! WELL, I'M SORRY FOR NOT BEING A 90'S KID LIKE THE REST OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, that felt good.

Honestly, with the exception of us Muppet Freaks, just about every fandom out there has a number of bad seeds that can tarnish the image of the entire fandom... even The Chipmunks and Arthur have those kinds of bad seeds.

Tell me about it. I tried a generic search for Foxy, and got search suggestions like "Foxy x Reader Lemon" and "Foxy r34". *shudders*

Our fandom isn't so perfect either. While we're pretty much safe when it comes to r34 stuff, we have a bit of a problem with Mary Sues and self-insert characters. But that's only some people.

Every fandom has its fringe elements. And every fandom has infighting, with people insisting that "those people" are weirdos or jerks and don't belong with us (Muppet Central and Tough Pigs, anyone?). And, of course, every fandom thinks it's the best, much nicer than all those other fandoms. I've been doing this thang since the early '90s, and though the names change the script remains the same.

I get a giggle out of the FNAF fandom, actually. I like the game; it's wonderfully creepy. I love some of the costumes I've seen. I've even done a few Muppet & Fraggle FANF crossover doodles for fun. However, the romance thing baffles me. It just doesn't make sense within the context of the game.
