Can someone tell me exactly what IRC, IIRC, and OOC means?

Well, I know that OOC means Out Of Character, in role-playing type things. But I'm not sure about IRC or IIRC.

Also in fanfiction, OOC means that a character in a story isn't acting like they were meant to. This can be either a result of bad writing, or it can be done on purpose fo alternate universe stories and such.
I know IRC is a type of chatting program, but I'm not sure of the other one.

IRC is internet relay chat or something. I've used it before but it's kind of confusing. You set up chat room channels for your website and anyone can log on at any time and chat.

I googled IIRC and it came up as "Illinois Internet Report Card"... so I don't know if that helps. Ask Prawnie! lol.

I've never been in a chat room in my life so I don't know anything about that.
