Monsters vs. Aliens Coming to Nick April 6

It helps that Penguins of Madagascar takes the funniest characters from the movie (including the Lemurs), fleshes them out in ways the movie couldn't. And recasting Kowalski gave the character some much needed personality and depth.

I really liked Madagascar 3, but as I watched POM before it, I was a little disappointed that the penguins, especially Rico, had such a small role.

The first episode was leaked. It's pretty much what you'd expect out of the premise. Seems like they're going to have a single alien big bad to fight, so I don't know if they're going to do alien of the week on this one. Seems that most of the humor has been preserved, though the president isn't quite as bombastic without Steven Colbert... the voice actor does his darnedest though. Seems that the events of the episode left Ginormica with a new ability to control her size. That's going to be interesting come later episodes. Seems Kevin Michael Richadson is the new voice actor for the general... I would've expected John Dimaggio (I kinda thought that's who did his voice in the movie). And Insectorsaur is unfortunately no where to be seen.
