Did Wembley's eyes work in a similar fashion? We've been trying to figure his eyes out for ages, although I did see once that his eyes aren't perfect spheres but rather are missing at least a small part of the back, probably the point that the eyes rotated on.

Thanks a lot Terry, that's very informative. This is a little off topic here, but I want to ask you something. After I graduate from high school this year, I hope to go into college and have a carreer in puppetry, hopefully with the Muppets. Can you give me some advice that I need to know? Thanks alot.
Hi ZNS,

Sorry I didn’t write this response sooner Ok, what can I say to this letter? I hope that you have very good luck with a career in puppetry and who knows where you will end up. Just don’t put your eggs into one basket as not everyone can work with the Muppets. Shoot for it but don’t make it just Muppets. As for learning puppetry watch a lot of Muppet stuff and practice, practice, practice. Get use to a monitor learn movements, lip-sink etc but this is stuff that everyone here knows about. Just do your best and good luck.

Hi David,

Another late answer for you yet again but here it is. Yes indeed Wembley’s eyes worked in a similar fashion. Now here’s a bit of stupid ness for you. When I work on Fraggle I didn’t even take a close look at Wembley’s eyes and you know I don’t even know why I didn’t. I do remember that Steve had a battery pack on his belt with wires going inside of the puppet and a set of wires that ran to the handle of the arm wire. I remember being told that the ball itself was moving. In other words I believe that you are right about the eyes David. See you guys later.
