I dunno about you, but I second the motion of an Electric Mayheim.

And I'll bet Janice and Mokey's man will third it!

Well....I'm not sure if I'd want to actually stay the night in the Happiness Hotel but you may be on to something. How about a Muppet-themed Casino in Vegas? (Vegas is so "family friendly" right now...)

Gonzo's stunt show..the At the Dance Ballroom...the Piggy Suite...Fozzie's open mic night...

Actually, Vegas is gearing more and more away from "family friendly" ventures. A Muppet Casino would never happen. Vegas has shut down a lot of the family oriented attractions (the Wizard of Oz theme at MGM grand is gone, and I'm very upset I never got to see it).

However, should Disney get the muppets, it wouldn't surprise me to see a Muppet Hotel pop up. They have the whole complex of themed lower rate hotels, and I bet a Muppet Themed Hotel would be a likely hood. The Engineers would have a field day building it!

I always wanted to have a fine crafted grandfather clock with Muppet figures on it. Of course it would be huge but it would be so cool!

And along with that a Muppet Cuckoo Clock with Camilla as the cuckoo.

There needs to be more posters, shirts (in big sizes like 2x), stationary, and definitely Christmas ornaments.

And I think they should make decent puppets of the characters.

>>>Fast food toys would be cool, but I really hate having to go into those places because I feel they peddle poison to the masses just like the tobacco industry, but that's off topic. I would certainly go in to a BK for some toys.)<<<

I thought it was funny when ya called LJS 'toxic waste' too true! I only went there once in hopes of Pepe stuff. *grrr*
But as far as the fast food industry, I think thats the best way to go with Muppet related toys, as it has been in the past. Muppet related toys at restaurants has slowed down. Sbarros is the only company that continually has JHC related stuff. I know weve also now and then have seen stuff at Wendys, Subway, LJS oddly enuff some years back, Dairy Queen(muppet babies) and of course MCdonalds over the years. Mcdonalds and Burger King especially, as they have really been coming out with some cool action figures and playsets! But frogboy, how could ya mention fast food and tobacco companies in the same sentence?
Im sorry, but someone smoking a cigarrette near me is a bazaillion light years worse than someone eating a cheeseburger(Especially since I love cheeseburgers, usually veggie tho)

Do I have a blind devotion to the fast food industry? You bet I do!

I agree that there is a difference and fast food promotions are a mark of popularity these days. I do think that fast food is toxic though - from BK to MCD's, Taco Bell to even Dennys (though it isn't fast food really).

I feel that such food at cheap prices causes those in lower economic standing to consume large quantities of garbage that leads to future heath problems. Sure, a Big Mac every few weeks isn't poisonous, but most people who eat at Mc Donald’s are much more frequent diners, I think this is just an area that Americans blind themselves to. That's why we have such on obesity problem in this country - it's actually hard to find healthy alternatives and be fit. Of course this is coming from someone who has always been rather lean. When I asked someone recently about why there weren't any healthy sort of fast food places he replied, Well Subway is one." I just shook my head in defeat. Ultimately I do feel that such food is as dangerous as smoking and the advertisements effecting our young people is considered as second hand smoke to me.

All that being said - Happy Meal toys really do rock - it's the junk they come around that should change IMHO.

You can buy Happy Meal toys seperately at most locations. Sometimes I go just to see what toy they have and buy it.

On another note, my cousin has Die cast, collectable, Beatles vehicles (they're not cheap at all!), like the Magical Mystery Tour bus, The yellow submarine, and the baby you can drive my car (just kidding about that one!). I wish they'd do the same for Muppets. We could see a rainbow Studbaker, the Electric Mayheim Bus, and the Happiness Hotel doubledecker bus. Maybe even some Muppet Nascar replicas!
