Hi Jamie, thanks for posting!

Do you think his neck looks a little long?;-) i'm just kidding about the whole pepe thing;-)

wow look at that hair! Do you know if he is coming with drum sticks or not? i know that the mega's aren't really coming with items but you would think if he isn't coming with them they would have opened up his hands. i don't know?

He's coming with removable drumsticks. Before anyone asks, the photograph was taken from a rather high position so his head looks bigger than the body. The actual proportions are the same as the regular-sized figure. I'm stoked. Great hair and color change on an already award-winning figure.

He's beautiful! Resculpted hair makes him look so much more like the real thing! Darn it, now I may have to get this.

Mega Beaker sales may be spotty (he does look good), but I predict Mega Animal sales are going to keep the mega line afloat. I don't think we're likely to see Mega Zoot or Janice but probably top characters like Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo and possibly Bunsen to round out the Bunsen/Beaker set. Totally guessing on this, but sticking to the tops is smart business.

Too bad, I'm sure a Mega Janice would make Byron very happy.

Not saying it totally wouldn't happen, but it would be toward the end of the Mega line if it picks up. I'd love a Mega Janice too.

LOL, I was just gonna post that very same thing! heh

Its funny, before the Muppet Movie was rereleased on vhs in the mid 90's, one of th emain things I remembered from seeing TMM when I was little was that giant headed Animal scene. That left quite an impression on me!

Btw, heres a screengrab from a deleted MTM scene...guess they thought it was too similair to the Muppet Movie scene:wink:

He looks great - they've layered the hair and the end sculpt is fantastic and a lot different from the original. This all goes back to what we were saying at the very start, do something dramatically different to enhance the figure and people will buy them, put out pretty much a clone of the original figure with minor enhancements that are hard to notice and people will not. Muppet fans choose wisely how to spend their cash and won't just jump at anything - same as with lots of them not buying every regular figure or exclusive.
