Hope no one minds if I bring up the topic but for anyone who lives in the Gulf Coast area, How's everything been? I know from the news it's still a mess there and that New Orleans Mayor, Can't stand him.

i moved out of new orleans but have been hoem recently.some cities and areas have rebuilt while other haven't.in some areas it still has that katrina smell i thought i would never smell again.the doucmentary that spike lee did for hbo was crap and only angered me and others.very onesided.
i have not seem mississippi and don't know how they are doing in thier rebuilding and recovery.
there are stil alot of people trying to get back to normal even a year later.i'm very proud to be from new orleans and i love my city.i wouldn't want to grow up anywhere else.the gulf coast will rebuild and will come back. we love our cities too much not to.
thanks for giving me this chance to express myself.i don't do it often.you can have your soap box back now.:embarrassed:
