*Happy sigh... Finished the S's for Sesame... Gonna hit the showers, maybe go for a haircut later. Definitely think this can be completed today.

So, any good fanfics lately? *Ponders what should be done for this year's celebration of creepiness known as Halloween.

Kelly (sighs)

Spike (hugs Kelly, kisses her on top of her head): 'Ey, at least you found your driver's license. A long road trip kinda needs dat sorta thing.

Kelly (frowns): No kidding. C'mon, Spike, move out of my way ... I gotta pack.

Spike: You ARE gonna get me dat gator head, right?

Kelly: You know, most people want Mardi Gras beads.

Spike: An' what made you t'ink I'm like most people?

*Must go to New Orleans at some point in life, especially when they have places like the Creole Creamery. *Okay, so I only know that place from the new FN show Chefs vs. City.
Mmm... Shorn and shaven and showered, I'm feeling fright for once.
*Plotting the beginnings of a kinda Halloweeny fic, maybe I'll go nag Beth to see what suggestions she may have. Or maybe I'll wait till Kelly comes back next week.
*Goes down to the Deep Freeze to sample some of their new Halloween flavors like Pumpkin Patch or Trick-Oreo-Treat.

Hey Cookie. *Hands over a choc chip cookie from the sandwich shop. Hmmm, dunno, mysteries have never been a strong style for me. Maybe I'll drop Beth a PM.

*Lying about... No cares today mon... Just enjoying da cool breeze as the town gets decked out little by little in da colors of da season of scaring. *Sips at a bit of Burial Grounds coffee ice cream.

Kelly (twiddling her thumbs in the hotel): For God's sake, if I wanted to sleep the Saturday away, I could do that at home. *sighs*

Cotterpin (shows up unexpectantly): No you couldn't. At least no one's bugging you at the hotel.

Kelly: O_O What are you doing here?

Cotterpin: Pffbt. I'm a Doozer and I live in tunnels that go anywhere, HELLLOOOOO.

Kelly (pouts): You didn't bring Spike?

Cotterpin (smirks): If I had a tunnel that big enter your room, what would your hotel repair bill be like?

Kelly (nods): Good point.

Cotterpin (nods towards bed): Besides, looks like your dog took your pillow.

Kelly (looks over at the pillow, covered in brown fur): NOOOOOOO!

Cotterpin: So, uh, why are you at the hotel at this hour? I thought you were gonna stay out all day.

Kelly (sighs, shrugs): That's what I thought. We went down to the French Quarter. Sarah and Bear loved all the new sights and sounds. We had been training them for this in a shopping center that was patterned after the old-town-kinda look back home. So, they didn't misbehave TOO much, until the other dogs started showing up. Sarah, now in her teens, is getting brassier and has decided that she is our loyal guard dog. *laughs* Of course, then Bear took a dump that was half his body weight. My brother was highly embarrassed. So we left. We returned to the hotel so that our hands could get blood circulation back because they had been pulling so hard on the leashes.

Cotterpin: Take a breath, you'll feel better.

Kelly (inhales): So now I'm in a hotel while my brother and Sarah sleep on one bed and Bear is on my pillows on my bed ... and I am bored to tears. I had hoped we were gonna take them to a doggie park. New Orleans is supposedly full of them. Maybe Ed can join me and we can do something together.

Cotterpin: Uh, he's still at the Dorms, you know.

Kelly: I got him a crystal ball, right? He said he's never been. I could quote-unquote show him around while I'm here. *shoos Cotterpin* Go ask Ed if he can pop over here for a bit.

Cotterpin (sighs, leaves through the tunnels and back to the Dorms and asks Ed if he wants to go on a tour)

*Still at the ol' comp... Maybe I'll pop in later Pin. Heh, that crystal ball must have some of Bunsen's teleporter chips. Just hope they don't short out midflight. Sends Pin back to Kelly.

Cotterpin (shakes head): OH NO! I'm not going back and forth! Kelly isn't doing anything important. She can just sit there and wait. And those crystal balls don't need technology ... Sarah was in the forest when she entered that crystal ball for that ballroom sequence and then she landed in the junkyard, remember? They can float, you know ...
