Ya know, I really don't think Viacom would have ever sued if some big guru like Google didn't go and buy it. Youtube is amazing but I do agree it has legal issues. If Google pumped a little money into staff to reduce the numbers of copyrighted media on the site, I doubt it would be an issue. Heck, I'm sure a lot of geeky teens would love to be 'media monitors' for a few bucks an hour.

I agree with you Sara. I understand where your coming from. Let some of the teens that are at collage get a little money for stuff they need to buy. Viacom just needs to give Youtube a break. I don't see what the big deal is anyways.

I think part of the deal is Viacom is being opportunistic. I love Youtube, but if Google doesn't do anything about it, I really do believe it will disappear due to similar lawsuits.
