Animal couldn’t believe everything that had happened to him, after the incident on the truck James dragged him through a large deserted fair ground, and into a large open red stripped tent.
It held rows and rows of large metal cages meant for wild animals, most of them were filled with every type of animal you could think of, monkeys, gorillas, cheetahs, lions, hyenas, wolves and more. But James brought him to an even larger cage it had to be six feet high, and six feet wide, was covered with a thick blue curtain so nobody could see into it.
But James had the back of it open and the curtain drawn, there was a layer of golden straw in the bottom of it and a round food dish latched in the counter. Animal didn’t even try to get away, he just walked into the cage and allowed James to latch chains onto his wrists, feet and neck and latch them onto the bars of his new cage.
Animal kicked the straw gently with his feet, he just didn’t care this was too much and what was the point? James rubbed the top of Animals head with the back of his hand “Oh, come now, where’s the fight?” Animal just whimpered and pulled away, laughing in clear success James slammed the door the cage shut and locked it “I though so.”
Drawing the curtain shut he spoke “The first showing is eight o’clock tonight, but I’ll be back soon so we can…train.” And with that animal was left alone. He pulled lightly at his chains; they hurt a lot and were way too tight, Floyd may have kept him on a chain, but it was comfortable and not too tight.
Looking around the dark cage animal noticed a food bowl and a water dish sitting next to each other in the corner. Getting on his knees he slowly crawled over to them only to find them empty. With a frown animal curled up in another corner, of course James wouldn’t feed him; he would want animal wild and hungry. Well, if that’s what he wants, then that is what he’ll get. He may not have Floyd, but there still is a reason to fight…freedom.
Animal couldn’t remember going to sleep, but when he awoke he was lying face down in a dark place. Groaning he sat up and realized he was in the middle of a closed off tent, he didn’t understand. How did he get here? The tent was empty with the exception of a large hook that hung down from the rafter.
Animal looked around, confused but then he heard a voice erupt from out of seemingly nowhere “Well, well, well, look who’s awake.” Animal spun around on his heals to face James, struggling in confusion when he realized that his arms where tied together in what felt like thick metal cuffs, attached by a short chain. Inching away from him animal growled lightly.
James chuckled, he was standing in front of something but animal could not see what it was, “Oh come now animal. I’m just going teach you a little lesson. So why don’t you be a good animal and just submit. Don’t make this harder than necessary.”
Animal didn’t understand what he just said, but he wasn’t going to let himself be pushed around anymore so instead he growled and got to his feet. James smiled and sneered “Oooh look who’s feeling though.” Animal tried to jump him but he realized he couldn’t move and just fell forward with a loud grunt.
James took his opportunity to rush forward and grab animal’s wrists, forcing him to his feet. He then latched his chain onto the hook so that animal was stuck just hanging there. Animal tried to pull away but his feet didn’t touch the floor, James pulled on a pair of thick gloves “there, isn’t that better?” turning around animal could now see what he was doing.
James was hovering over a dinner cart on wheels that held a metal box, layers of coals where burning inside of it, James was holding a long metal rod inside of the flames and a weird funnel type thingy that blew air on the coals, animal cocked his head to the side confused. He watched for a few moments as the rod turned red hot, just then James spoke
“This is a cattle prod, but don’t worry this will only hurt for a few months.” Turning back toward animal he grinned, the prod would leave a swirl design where ever James decided to put it. James circled around animal, who tried to keep an eye on him, but eventually could no longer see him, and he didn’t like that at all.
“Now, where was I?” James muttered into animal’s ear before he swiftly and deliberately pressed the cattle prod into animal’s lower back.
