Matrix referance in in MVC?

Is the fast motion moment of "Welcome to theworld n which you were never born" a Matrix reference?

I don't think so.

It's just a technique used by the film makers to add drama... if it had ben a slow bit, it wouldn't have been as much of a shock for us to realize his world had changed.

I think that section of the film is more of an It's a Wonderful Life reference than anything else (movie-wise).

BTW does anyone think Miss Piggy looked good with short hair? I thought it made her look great.
