According to Box Office Mojo, the live-action/CGI Marvin the Martian movie will be released October 7, 2011.

I honestly don't know what to think, I want to support a new Looney Tunes production making it's way to the big screen but at the same time... god! I know this is gonna suck!

Also, why are they releasing a Christmas movie at the beginning of October? I thought for sure Warner Brothers would go with a Thanksgiving weekend release for this movie.

Dear God... That can only mean one thing. They WANT the movie to bomb so they can put it out on DVD before Christmas. Same thing they did with the God-Awful "Surviving Christmas" movie.

I want to support it as well.... the Looney Tunes NEED a good boost... ever since LTBIA flopped (I don't care how iffy the movie was ... there was NO EXCUSE for Cat in the Hat to get more people into the theaters... Elf, I understand... but Cat in the Hat?) they have been making such bad decisions with the property. Look at Loonatics Unleashed... BLEHHH... Had LTBIA been a hit, we would have seen a lot of new Daffy Duck cartoons, and I'm guessing Duck Dodgers would have at least seen another season.

Honestly, I think the movie is pretty stupid sounding as well. it needs MORE Looney Tunes than just Marvin to get the film to work. Ever hear of a movie called "Boris and Natasha?"

Marvin is one of my favorite Loony Tunes characters but he is not on my list of cartoons I'd like to see live action.

Honestly most cartoons turned into live action aren't on my list and the rare one that is doesn't turn out great (Inspector Gadget)
