Marabou Boas

I picked up a marabou (?) boa at Hancock fabrics. I want to take pieces of it and attach it at joint like the wrists and the neck of my puppet to disguise some seams. How should I attach it so that it is secure and won't fray?

A needle and thread's always a pretty good start...

I like to dip the ends (after they're cut) in hot glue then pinch the glue with my fingers (dip in H20 first). I will keep them from falling apart.

Like P&J (you just need a "b" in the middle) said, needle and thread works good, but I've also trimmed one side of the boa and hot glued the boa in place. (The trimming allows you to get glue on the cord better.) It's messy.
