Here is a little puppet that I made for a personal project I am developing.
Kittie 1
The thing that was challenging for me on this puppet was that I needed the puppet to be much smaller than the other characters, but I don't want to build a rod puppet. I persoanlly don't like the ridgid movement that is achieved with rod puppets.
I designed the puppet to fit over a hand but to have the mouth operated with the index finger/middle finger together and the thumb (for the lower jaw).

It actually turned out very well. The movement is exactly what I wanted and there is a life in the puppet that I don't think it would have had if it were a rod puppet.
