Each color of M&M is given it's own character: you have the Bert and Ernie-ish Red and Yellow, the sultry Green, the panicky Orange, and the jazzy Blue; but how come the brown M&M hasn't been given its own character?

cuz no one likes the brown one!

that kinda sounds racial... (and I didnt mean it to be) maybe thats why, they dont want to make a sterio type or something

No it dosen't, it's just candy. I think if anyone finds a piece of candy sterio tipical, then that's just plain silly to me. I mean they could give it any personality.

Anyway, I suppose it true, but the way I look at it, they all tasts the same. I mean I'm usually to busy eating then to pay attention to what color I'm eating. So I'm not that picky about them.

They should make a brown character to represent the new dark chocolate M&Ms.

Anyone remember several years ago when each bag of M&M's had a dark brown and a light brown M&M? That was before blue came along.

By the way, when is purple going to be added to every single bag of M&M's if it won the nation color vote like five years ago!

They had purple for a while, but then it suddenly disappeared quickly. But I don't know why though.

However, there is an M&M museum in Las Vegas that sells purple M&Ms along with other rare colors. When I was there, I bought some turquoise M&Ms. They were very interesting.
