I live in Texas and will be moving to Alabama later this month. My friends say THEN I'll become a hick. Stuff about marrying my cousins. Should I stay indoors?

Well, depends on whether she's laughing with us or at us. I prefer the latter.

Indeed, kudos on printing the articles and press releases .... my source for the year in review ! LOL!

However, there's no sections profiling Hoobs, Moppatop or Construction Site although they are all on air and there's plenty of matierial available. In fact MC is missing profiles on ALL the Henson shows, there's no overview on anything if someone wants to find out quick information, it's all mixed up in different sections. A 'shows' section, rather than 'guides' could index and give a general overview of EVERY Henson show of all time, in any country and lead into individual mini sections of pictures, reviews, episode guides etc etc for each show. If this truly aims to be the global fan resource for all things Henson then while containing a lot, it's also managing to miss a lot !

Hey Luke, give them a break will ya? Afterall, a person can only lift so much information from other places.

It really is a shame that Henson never put any effort behind their official site.

Yeah, unless you count them replacing a crappy web site with an even crappier web site. At least the old one had more video clips, which is ALL there is to do on Henson.com.

I really don't get what the Henson site was aiming for.

As for a shows section - it could still be the guides section, but have links to overviews of programs on the main page (like you said, Luke). I really like that idea.

The past year was a pretty busy one for all of the staff. Lots of projects. I hope to see more substance this year, but it's still hands down the all around best Muppet site in my eyes. But it definitely could use some expanding in areas.

Good point Jamie - yeah it'd still be a 'guide' to each Henson show so 'guides' would still be cool. Glad you like it - if it ever happens and you need stuff from the UK shows let me know.

As for Henson's site - yeah it's really wierd whats happened there, you'd have thought they'd spot the fact it became totally unusable in the development process. They have art directors, producers, archivists and whatever else and they end up with that. I bet they spent the budget betting on the gee-gee's !

****! The glowing Kermit green with the thin white text over it makes my eyes bleed. Their old design really wasn't that bad. In fact, I actually liked it. This is why people don't like Flash. :frown:

It really is a good idea to list show descriptions. You have given MC something to seriously think about. Part of me finds it funny to see a synopsis on Sesame Street. Like the one person living under a rock for the the past 30 years wouldn't know about it. LOL! But I have always been interested in hearing about some of the lesser known Brit shows. Mopatop is the one that intrigues me the most. Something about his look.

Shhhh! Youw wouldnt want to raise the ire of any folks around here! You might end up with an angry email or two:wink:

But I guess in these definitions, a lemonadestand can compete globally.

What staff would that be? Besides Phil, and your unquestionably nice graphics...who else is truly helming?(Besides a $40 dollar bill with Jim Hills name on it?) Doh!

And yeah, I have to say...Henson.com SUCKS!!!
That site makes joethearmadillo.com look like a sweet symphony of delights. Man, why did JHC have to change their site? It is virtually unnavigateable...and finally, where is www.muppets.com? Anybody find it odd this site hasnt been updated since the Reagan administration?
