Re: gonzo, camilla, janice etc.
Is Gonzo's head still going to be unearthly and repulsive?
Is there still a sprig of hair coming out of his head?
My memory is so hazy now - i saw like one photo of these later figures. I do know i liked what i saw, he looked heaps better. I never really disliked his head that much before, i actually liked it more than most people - it was the freakishly skinny legs (although admittedly the puppet did have them, they were just freakish period - LOL) and the dodgy looking shiny paint wash that i wasn't mad on before. Anyway at least in the photo the head was angled in a way that looked very good for the body, which looked great and more fuller figured. I think the suit came up fairly high on his neck if my memory is correct and was a fairly dark silky looking purple - quite close to the puppet version, maybe not exact but i'm no expert. I think he works way better as this kinda figure but it was nice to have the earlier version if just to shoot something out of a cannon ! (it'll be great for shooting camilla and maybe a penguin or two - who knows ? LOL). I think Palisades has done some tweaking of the hair, it's not something i focused on when i got to look.
Is Janice's hat removable?
How long is Janice's hair? and what's it like?
As far as i can remember the picture of the unpainted sculpt i saw was not wearing a hat - so i'm sure it must be removable, they have been with all the other figures anyhow. The sculpting of her hair looked fine. I think her hair is one of the things Palisades have been really picky about and have been extra careful to get right so i'd expect it to be really close to the puppet.
Are Camilla's wings flappable?
Again i just saw a photo and Camilla was just sitting next to Gonzo at his legs. Her wings looked good, but i have no idea if they are flappable, i never thought to ask. Her head definitely swivels or moves as you could see the line across the neck so it's not a static non-articulated figure. The red was the same kinda vibrant red you see on the Muppet chickens.
