Luis was showing how a can opener works. The only part I remember was him opening up a can a spaghetti (Chef Boy-ar-dee?) Not realizing that the bottom of the can was already opened and with a close-up of the can, Luis lifted the can after opening the top only to have the entire contents of the can spill from the bottom. The camera then rises up to show the look of disbelief on Luis' face. The only thing missing from this skit that would have made it more laughable would be to hear a bunch of unseen kids laugh!

I remember that one. Only the bright yellow can wasn't Chef Boyardee, but Franco-American (maker of Spaghetti-O's!). Very close, though! I only know because I polished off enough of those cans when I was little.

I mentioned this 1 a long time ago and I would of loved to have seen Julia Child on doing this 1.

I seem to recall that the can was of Franco-American Spaghetti (I also ate a lot of that brand of canned pasta back in the day), but ISTR the word "Franco" was blanked out, so all it read was merely "American Spaghetti".

The look on Luis' face was priceless as he casually picked up the can while saying "and then you..." (was he going to show us how to prepare the pasta as well?) I think he had his mouth sort of hanging open, almost grimace-like, as he pointed to the can.

For what it's worth, the Franco-American label has recently been dropped. All Spaghetti-Os and similar products are now marketed under the Campbell's label, a bad move IMHO.
