Looking for Sesame St tape from 80s

Hello all. I am looking for a Sesame Street cassette tape that I used to listen to in the late 80s early 90s. It is about going to school, and I remember that a few songs on the tape had to do with snack time, make believe, and how you get to school ("you need a bus, come and follow us to school"). The tape was purple in color. I'd like to find this tape again and listen to it for nostalgia's sake. It's been about thirteen or fourteen years since I've heard it. I can't see to find it anywhere else, so maybe some of you might have an answer. Thanks a lot!

from your description, that sounds like "Getting Ready for School." I don't own a copy of that tape (and never have), but I'm sure you can find one on Amazon or e-Bay. Good luck!

If that is the tape, then I have it. Nostalgic songs on it included The Count's First Day of School, Everyone Makes Mistakes, and ABCDEFGHI.

But I think that he or she is talking about a music cassette tape. Like what goes into a radio cassette play type of player. Not a video cassette. A tape cassette. I know what your talking about. I think. I have the cd version is it "Sesame Street road."
