Looking for John Denver and the Muppets: A Christmas together

Hello,

I am new to this forum and don't really know if this thread is in the correct place. I am looking for a release of John Denver and the Muppets: A Christmas Together. It is my favorite christmas movie in the whole world!! I am hearing rumors of a release for it but don't know when or even if the rumors are true. Any imput would be very helpful.
I have called round every place I can think of and am always receivng the same answers...I am not sure, possibilty of a release, or sometime soon is what I am getting. So, I am left feeling a little frustrated. I have the show recorded onto a tape but the tape is fast becoming warped due to age (not usage) .
So any info would be most appreciated.

Just curious,do you know if the copy from ebay is commercially made.

I would doubt it very much. As far as I know it was never released on tape or dvd. Probably just copies of taping off of television.
