Lips Repaint Pictures!

Anyone know if that's the final paint job on the regular version of Lips? I think the head is a little dark IMO.

WHy is Palisades doing this to Lips??

I like the standard Lips with the white shirt but his skin is dark. That's not his official color.

His re-paints is the right skin color but I don't like the shirt of the re-paints.

Palisades has been making all these figs. perfect but if they leave that Lips dark then they just messed up the whole series. All of them!

Of course they won't leave him like that. Thats a rather old picture. This is why you should go to http://www.palisadestoys.com/new/whatsnew/thebit/Muppets/Thur6_24_04.php instead of this guys over priced web site.

The second more western repaint will have details added to it. What that means I have no idea. I'm guessing a pattern of some kind. Palisades s doing this to Lips because that pattern on the original lips is very costly. If they used it on all 3 or even just 2 of the figures per case it would throw the budget out of whack. Not good. So, they are doing a 3 paint. The silver one was done as a steppin' out stype. While I think it's a bit too shiny, it does go well with the Marvin repaint and the Steppin' Out Jonny variant from series 7. I don't like the red sleeves though.

Hmmm...Doesn't do much justice to Lips..Just putting in my 1/2 cent.
