I have an mp3 of Jim Henson which is entitled
"Limbo The Organised Mind" I have heard it on Muppet Central radio before but I dont know where its from.

does anyone know? Was it on the muppet show? was it earlier than that?

Was it performed with muppet puppets or some other characters, I have no idea.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Paul:smile:

Paul,

It's from Manhattan Research Inc., a release from about three years ago.

Jim Henson performed Limbo using Raymond Scott's soundtrack on "The Mike Douglas Show" and also "The Tonight Show" in 1968 and 1974. The voice used here is almost Jim's "real" voice and is a great track, especially toward the end when things go out of control in Limbo's mind. Jim Henson showed how the Limbo character is performed on the 1968 special "Adventure in the Arts: The Muppets on Puppets".

Here's a review, highlighting the Henson tracks on this release.

Thanks for all your help! I thought it that it may have been from something like that, it doesnt really sound like something from the muppet show.

Thanks again,
Paul
