There has been a lot of right-handed Muppeteers, but there has been some others who are left-handed. Like Louise Gold and Jennifer Barnhart. Were there any others?

Jerry Nelson's worked left-handed before, either for his half of Two-Headed Monster, or due to the shoulder injury he sustained in the 70s that forced him to perform left-handed for a while.

Also, in the early days of SST, the way Oscar's set was laid out forced Caroll Spinney to work Oscar left-handed to ensure he wouldn't be seen on-camera.

I was aware of both of those. I was talking about Muppeteers who always worked left-handed.

Richard Coombe, and Terry Angus are two who write right-handed but puppeteer left-handed. They both started out as puppet-builders and then progressed to puppeteering, and so were used to having their puppet on their left-hand (because they would use their right to make it).
Mike Quinn is another example of a puppeteer who puppeteers left-handed because he is a lefty.

That's interesting about Richard and Terry. I always thought i must be the only person out there who's right handed in just about everything else but always felt natural puppeteering left-handed! Nice to know i'm not the only one.

I'm kinda like that, but it really depends on the puppet.

When I was learning a bit about puppetry before actually doing it, one source said that your recessive (Would that be the right word in this case?) hand would often be better for puppeteering. I mostly did it that way (left-handed) since then, but with some puppets I have trouble getting as much life out of my left hand than my right.

After seeing two episodes of Late Night Liars, it seems to me that Brian Clark is left-handed because, Mummy always puts his right hand on the panel desk.
