Greetings all!

Last year I puppeteered on a game for Leap Frog's new "Little Leaps" Learning game. It uses puppets, live action, and animation to teach infants and toddlers shapes, counting, and letters in a 'game' setting. It's super cool.

They even made tiny plushes for the game characters (I can't find any photos, so once I take some from my purchases, I'll post 'em). You can find more info on the game at http://www.leapfrog.com/do/findproduct?ageGroupKey=infant&key=lilps You can find more on the particular game I worked on at http://www.leapfrog.com/do/findproduct?ageGroupKey=infant&key=lilpsfirststep. There are four games in this series but that one has the puppet I performed; Lulu, the letter spinning spider, on the front. The puppets were made by Images in motion. I wrote some more about this on my bloghttp://www.swazzle.com/blogs/puppetu.html

If you get a chance, check it out!

Funny... we just finished 3 of the games ( just the animation )
but I did have a chat with one of the Producers on the puppet stuff . She is head over heels for puppets and said she had a blast working on it . ! when she came to my office she just flipped out and loved the puppets I had , It was great to meet some one so passionate about puppets
I would love to see the finshed product of what you guys did !

Sweet! I had such fun on the production! Unfortunately, the only way to see anything (so far) is to buy the game. I haven't figured out how to get anything OFF the game and onto the web (since ya can't play the disc on the computer--drat!). It came off great, the puppets are super cute! I just got a new camera and will post some pics of the plushes tomorrow! What games were you on Renegade? and TopperFraggle, tell me what books ya did, so I can at least see YOUR stuff!! Tell the producers I said "hi!"

Hey Anita, What if you filmed the puppet segments off of the game. Would that work?...or might it be too fuzzy?

That isn't looking too nice right now. I'm hoping to figure out some other way of doing it that doesn't detract from the quality of the merchandise. But, a good idea, thanks!!

Next (since we got a new, HUGE tv), I'll try to pull some images off the game with the ACTUAL puppets!

I plan to. Although my little one is not even 1 yr old yet, I love what I see of the project. Congrats Anita The Great!

That's the perfect age! These games are made for really little ones--6mths to 2 years! Let me know what you think of the game-play if you get the games!
