Apparantly the LOTR show was actually good. It just didn't make alot of money. I think by the time the show got together and started the run, they had missed the boat and it wasn't in style anymore, people got tired of it.

From what I heard, up in Canada, the show was an absolute disaster
Perhaps those reports were wrong.
