I just wanted to pop in and say I think Adventure Time is the cleverest show on television.

To follow up on this conversation... first thing I thought of was The Halloween Tree. What a great book. Never seen the TV special, always wanted to.

I'm actually kind of shocked that no one's mentioned 'The Chronicles of Narnia' yet. :concern:

Oh, yes. I remember seeing the animated The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, when I was a kid. Then came the live action Chronicles of Narnia.

Here's a cartoon series from France called, Flatmania. About a boy named Vincent who gets pulled into a magic magazine world and befriends a girl named Kyu. The animation looks like it was made from magazine clippings.

Starring the voices of Oliver Grainger, who voiced D.W. on Arthur, as Vincent. And Elanor Noble, who voiced George on Arthur, as Kyu.

What? D.W. was voiced by a dude?

Anyway, has anyone seen the live action BBC version of the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe? I watched it in school way before the Disney movie came out.

YES, and it stunk so bad. XD The CGI on Aslan was terrible and the actress they had for the White Witch was completely narmish. My best friend and I boycotted the BBC versions when we were younger, if I remember correctly.
