Kermit's "Yaaaaaaaaaay!" in Seasons 4 and 5 of The Muppet Show

Has anyone noticed that Kermit used his "Yaaaaaaaaaay!" throughout many of his introductions in Seasons 4 and 5 of The Muppet Show? He did that at the end of all (if not all) of his introductions in the Diana Ross episode. I don't think it's annoying. But what about you? Do you think Kermit saying "Yaaaaaaaaaay!" throughout many of his introductions in Seasons 4 and 5 of The Muppet Show was annoying or no?

I know, it's just that he can sound a bit childlike somewhat when he says that to some people.
