I've noticed that Kermit refuses to sell out his frog relatives by advertising Doc Hopper's Froglegs. But Pepe seems happy to advertise fried shrimp for Long John Silvers. I guess that doesn't seem to bother Pepe that his kind is being fried and eaten.

Hey, a king prawn has to make money somehow, even if it is selling his relatives to us for food.
