I just saw that one on Youtube(the Family Guy one) I think it's because they can. I mean, why did they reference other TV shows? Who knows? But it's funny the way they do it. I must have missed that one that was on Sunday. I saw the episode, but I missed the reference. Oh well, that's the next DVD purchase.

I like the "deep throat" one, though Kermit was a little scary waving his arms around lol

'The Family Guy' is not laughing 'with' the Muppets.

There are soooo many Muppet references on that show, that I really do think Seth McFarlane is a fan. I make Muppet jokes to my friends that may seem like a dig, but it's all from the school of "innitation is the highest form of flattery."

"And it sure is a hot one out there today, Diane. With the temperature reaching over 110 degrees, it's sure difficult to keep cool. Now let's go to Ollie Williams, how are you dealing with the heatwave?"
