Kermit is on espn.com today. On the first page there is a link for an article called "Green's Day" with a headshot of  . Obviously the article really has nothing to do with  , but it's cool nonetheless.

Disney Marketing

Here is Google's cache of the ESPN homepage with Kermit's pic:

And, here's the link to the actual article:

You guys know who owns ESPN, right? Disney.

This is a perfect example of the Disney Marketing Machine at work. I think we're going to see a lot more of these 'Muppet appearances', especially in Disney-owned media.

Let's just hope that Disney does more with the Muppets than simply market them. :concern:

Uh... You guys are aware of the thread I... No, maybe not.
There's a show on ESPN Radio called Mike & Mike in the Morning. The show gets a simulcast on ESPN News from 6 to 10 AM EST.
Well, while the football season was still active, they'd do their weekly pics on three games each for the point spread called Stone Cold Lead Pipe Locks. And one week they used a clip of Statler and Waldorf.
The other thing is that since I watch it regularly, I need to see how often they do this but from time to time they play the end music of the TMS theme song complete with Zoot's sax note at the end of their show.
