Did Kermit ever interact with Bob,Maria,Mr.Hooper or any of the main SS human characters?I realise he was mostly seen in segments that were seperate from the actual SS trademark set.Even before TMS he didn't seem to be quite as popular as most of the other SS muppet characters.Though I've seen Kermit on the main SS set before,I can't recall whether he ever socialised with any of the SS humans or not.

I have read somewhere that he talked to Susan and Gordon in the first episode.

I've also read that he and Susan once sang "One of These Things".

There was also a skit where Bob and Kermit talked about frogs.

Yes, all the above are true.

Kermit was in Gordon's apartment when he was asked if he'd give a lecture on the letter "W". He agreed and hopped away. On every subsequent episode, the clip that shows Kermit on the brick wall with the "W" still begins:

"Hiya! Kermit the Frog here, and Gordon asked me to talk a little bit about the letter "W"!"

Kermit and Susan did two verses of "One of These Things". Each one was set to different music. On Susan's board, there were three fish (?) and a frog, and at the end of the song it was determined the frog was the thing that didin't belong. Kermit got very upset and stormed off.

Kermit: "So the frog doesn't belong, huh? Well, fine! Then I'm leaving!"
Hopefully Susan got to make it up to him later.

Kermit did get to talk about frogs, and Bob brought a real live frog to demonstrate. Kermit really seemed out of his league when he saw the real frog, and Bob seemed to know so much more than Kermit did.

Kermit: "That's a frog? He's got a face that can stop a clock!"
Bob: "Why don't you tell us where frogs live?"
Kermit: "Well everybody knows frogs live in apartment houses in the city..."
Bob: No, I don't think so! They actually like to live in swamps and in hollow logs along the water."
Kermit: "But then their furniture would get all filthy!"
Bob: "Why don't you tell us what frogs like to eat?"
Kermit: "Fried chicken and pizza! And some of us like pancakes, and hard to believe french fries and hot dogs..."
Bob: "No, NO NO!!!! Actually, frogs like to eat flies."
Kermit:" Flies???!!!"
Bob: "And worms."
Kermit: "WORMS????!!!"
Bob: "And spiders!"
Kermit: (Looking very nauseous) "SPIDERS??!!!!!!"

According to the Sesame Street Unpaved book, Bob was holding the frog directly over Jim Henson's head. During the shooting, the frog got nervous and piddled on Jim!

Actually, when Bob was correcting Kermit's misinformation on the life and habits of a frog he did allow that frogs like Kermit would do the things that Kermit was talking about. Also Kermit had the last laugh in the end when the frog started croaking and Kermit actually understood him.

I think the actual quote was more like:

Bob: (frogs live in) Swamps, lakes, rivers, mudholes...

Kermit: MUDHOLES? That's TERRIBLE. How could you live in a mudhole? If you lived in a mudhole your floor would get filthy!

And I believe the part about apartment houses in the city included a line about "with TV and wall-to-wall carpeting"

I always wondered that too. I saw an interview with several SS human cast members that all talked very highly of Jim and how kind he was. I always wished some of them appeared as guest stars on TMS. That would've rocked so hard.

I think you're referring to the Sesame Street Unpaved tv special Vic.

Forr Froggie, but funny that it had an accident. I think that there was a limit of one guest star per show, excluding the people who were trademarked together, because with more than one guest star the Muppets would need a whole lot of insurance.

I always thought it was odd that Muppets Tonight frequently had more than one guest star in the same epsiode, even though only one guest usually got credited as the guest. Some shows didn't have an announced guest, instead havinmg many cameos. It was even weirder in the secodn season when there'd be a second guest with his or her own subplot, yet that guest wouldn't be announced as a guest star (though they didn't actually appear on-stage on the show). It's weird that Kermit announced Don Rickles as a guest along with Coolio, as I don't remember them doing anything together, Don Rickles didn't really do much, Coolio was the main guest (the promo for that episode only promoted Coolio), and there were other humans/ celebrities who made appearances in that episode.
