The Toronto Star's weekly Business Design feature was focused on puppetry & technolgy this week. They profiled puppet designer Karen Valleau, who was a Muppet builder and puppeteer on Fraggle Rock, The Jim Henson Hour and many other specials. She also performed Kaos The Kitten on "Sesame Place."

Good article - AND (shame on you for not mentioning this! ) also includes quotes from Muppeteer Rob Mills - who as i just learned thanks to this article is another one of those "found love at work" stories we all love so much over here!

Ooops, should have mentioned that too. Rob & Karen are the owners of Radical Sheep Productions in Toronto which in the last ten years has become one of Canada's leading producers of children's entertainment. The "Sheep Shop" also builds puppets for other shows. Their shows include Big Comfy Couch, Amigo & Me, Rufus The Dog and Panda Bear Daycare. They were also executive producers on the upcoming series "Puppets Who Kill." Plus, they are all very nice people to boot!

They also work with alot of other Muppeteering Canucks up here like Bob Stutt, Trish Leeper, Frank Meschkuleit, Gord Robertson and John Pattison.

Radical Sheep has a very cool Quicktime demo reel online at http://www.sheepshop.ca
