thanks, that helped. i know how to set it up now but i have another question. i have the pic in my e-mail account, how do i get the pic from the account to the forum?

i know that i must sound like a complete idiot but i'm new to this and i have no idea what i'm doin. thank you for the info, please help me again.

You don't sound like an idiot at all, you just sound unexperienced. If you want you could just send the picture to me by e-mail along with your Muppet Central password(I'd erase it from my memory the second I was done putting your avatar up) and I'll put it up for you, if you feel uncomfortable with that I'll try to explain how you can do it manually.
