Yea Grover was behind the counter in the movie cleaning the counter top with a rag. Him and Susan and Linda was there to have a drink I think too.

It is a good movie. It is also pretty much timeless. It will always hold up. And it's much more of a story than Elmo losing his blankey! It was very realistic, only with puppets. That is how it should be. That is when Sesame was at it's best. Jim, Frank, and the rest of the gang working together perfectly.

Like David, Roosevelt Franklin and Uncle Wally, Willy the hot dog vendor is one character I am only familiar with through the internet, the Unpaved book &c. I know for a fact that David and Willy were around when I was of viewing age, but I just didn't remember or acknowledge either of them... after rediscovering this movie about a year ago, it was heartening to see Willy doing a bit of a cameo, even though he had no dialogue

ditto for Don't Eat The Pictures and Christmas Eve on Sesame Street for re-introducing me to David, and for giving another glimpse at Olivia and Mr Hooper (the latter two I always have remembered)

Sounds good. I didnt realise you lived in Sydney. If you're who I think you are.

We were trying to organise a meetup through the muppets downunder website but it never happened so it would be great to have one and hopefully many more after that!
