How much does it cost to keep the entire Muppet Central website up and running?

I wish Phil would post a fun little page about the behind the scenes of MC, how he contacts moderators, how often he checks the site, what problems he's had with members, any fears about the future of MC, all sorts of stuff, I'd sure read it.

As far as the finances, they are several hundred a month. This covers the server costs for the site itself, the forum, and all streaming and licensing fees paid for Muppet Central Radio. The affiliate links (like to Amazon) help to pay these fees.

Dave, a behind-the-scenes MC page sound like a fun idea.

Several hundred a month!? Holy crap, I had no idea! More reason to consider some kind of online Muppet Central store or somethin' methinks. I'd pay! But seriously, if this doesn't make you really appreciate this place, I don't know what will.

Thanks again Phil for all your hard work.

Do you have a leased or owned license for the forum?

We have an owned license which was bought in 2002, plus the annual fees for software upgrades.
