I'm sure you've heard of this, if not...basically, there are now super high end printers that can print out highly detailed painted plastic action figures. Watch these if ya dont believe it:

I mean look at this, this was literally created out of thin air:

Now imagine if you had one of these at home. All you'd need were talented computer graphic designers to build custom 3d model maps in a program, and you could build and download virtually every Muppet figure imaginable.
We all get excited, nitpick endlessly and talk about this or that figure. But what is a figure, but poly chloride vinyl and other chemicals made from oil assembled in cheap sweat shops overseas. Aw, but it is what they represent that gets us excited. If we had the ability to "download and print" I can only imagine how revolutionary that would be..you literally could have figures of any cartoon, show, comic or movie property in existence.
